Why BNAU?

BNAU today is a big regional education and science center where on the 9 faculties future specialist for agriculture sector of Ukraine are trained. The University is proud of 14 Academicians, 56 Doctors of Sciences, 228 Candidates of Sciences, 22 distinguished workers in field of science and technics, distinguished workers of education, higher education, agriculture, veterinary medicine who work in its faculties.

The University’s structure includes 8 technical schools, 7 research institutes, 16 research laboratories, Institute of Post-Graduate Education for Specialists in Veterinary Medicine, Institute of European Integration, research institutes of economics, business and ecological development, 15 practical education centers, agriculture enterprises.

Suggested innovations:

1. Using antioxidants of plant origin in food fats;
2. Identifcation of causative agents of infections in food products using molecular-genetic methods;
3. Identifcation of GMOs in food products;
4. Study of animals’ genome in order to fnd out new productive properties (proteins content, fat content, etc.)
5. Test-systems for identifcation of causative agents of infectious diseases of cattle, pigs, poultry, fsh;
6. Methodology for identifcation and passportization of aquaculture objects using molecular biological methods;
7. Identifcation of micotoxines in soils, agriculture primary products and in food products;
