Cluster passport: Transcarpathian Regional NGO “Public Association for Area Development” (ZOGO “GART”) is a public organization created to facilitate mobilization of national and international investments for creation, support and development of entrepreneurship, environmentally friendly hi-tech scientifc enterprises, creation of favorable conditions for acceleration of socioeconomic development of cities of the region and the region as a whole, increase of their competitiveness, stimulation and support for social and economic initiatives in local communities.

Why TR NGO «Public Association for Area Development»?

NGO «Public Association for Area Development» – an organization, the Board of which includes representatives from 7 districts of Transcarpathian region: Vynohradiv, Hust, Tyachiv, Rakhiv, Irshava, Mukachevo, Uzhhorod. The purpose of the organization is to support local executive authorities, local governments, nongovernmental organizations, territorial communities, business entities in implementing projects aimed at sustainable social, economic and cultural development of the region, industries, promoting positive structural changes in economy.

The main objective of the cluster- support output of national agricultural products into domestic and foreign markets through agricultural cooperatives. The organization has intellectual property, gathered by horizontal connections.

Domestic and international organizations, agencies and institutions: Transcarpathian Regional Council, Transcarpathian Regional Administration, Vynohradiv District Council, Irshva District Council, Beregovo District Council, Mukachevo District Council, Association of village and town representatives, Association of Farmers and Private Landowners of Transcarpathian Region, Association of Agricultural Cooperatives, LLC «Market of agricultural products «Shuvar» , Lublin wholesale market (Poland).

Creation of alternative transport corridor (Montenegro (Bar port), Serbia (Belgrade), Romania (Halmeu), Ukraine (Dyakovo) with use of multimodal terminals).
Creation of industrial- technology park «Palad».
Modernization of engineering structure: the introduction of innovation mechanisms for the collection, removal and utilization of solid waste.

Creation of hospice institution in Vynohradiv district.

Representatives of the organization have also conduct with Transcarpathian regional center for training and increasing the qualification of public authorities, local governments, state enterprises, institutions and organizations since 2009 educational seminars on training the representatives of regional development on “Project Management. Attracting investments”, after which they are given the certificate of state model.
